$10,000 Scholarships Available for Rural and Regional Health Professionals

PACFA members and registrants working in remote, rural, and regional Australia can access valuable support through the Health Workforce Scholarship Program (HWSP).

What’s on offer

The HWSP provides scholarships and bursaries of up to $10,000 to help health professionals:

  • Retain and enhance their professional skills
  • Expand their scope of practice
  • Access continuing professional development opportunities
  • Strengthen their capacity to provide high-quality care to rural and regional communities

About the Program

The HWSP is delivered by the Rural Doctors Network (RDN), a not-for-profit, non-government charitable organisation committed to improving health and wellbeing in remote, rural, regional, Aboriginal, and disadvantaged communities.

RDN works closely with communities, professional associations, educational institutions, and government agencies to support a strong, sustainable rural health workforce.
