Wellbeing Counsellor

About the YMCA

We believe all young people have the right to achieve their full potential irrelevant of circumstance. The development of the whole person is of utmost importance and we are guided in developing this through the YMCA's philosophy of valuing a person's Mind, Body and Spirit. We believe that this holistic approach is best delivered through a flexible individualised learning environment, to maximise positive outcomes for every individual.

YMCA Wellbeing Services aim to improve young people's access and engagement with education through developing mental wellbeing. We achieve this through the provision of best practice individualised support pathways, including psychological intervention, counselling and case management support. In addition, we deliver evidence-based wellbeing group programs, both proactive and developmentally focused, that meet the needs of children and young people.
