On the morning of Saturday 25 November 2023, PACFA’s Queensland Branch held an end-of-year networking event for its members. The event was held at Gestalt Therapy Brisbane, one of PACFA’s accredited training providers, where a number of PACFA members work. These members also facilitated the use of the space for PACFA QLD’s end of year event.
During the free event, attended by approximately 40 PACFA members, PACFA QLD Branch Leadership Group Convenor, Florence Ee, directed a drawing exercise and therapeutic activity encouraging members to reflect on the year, and focus on their strengths and resources.
The event served as an opportunity for Queensland Branch members to network with their peers, and to get to know the new and current PACFA QLD Leadership Group.
The majority of attendees were longstanding PACFA members, all of whom enjoyed lovely snacks and filled the space to capacity on a beautiful day in Brisbane.
PACFA’s CEO, Johanna de Wever, also attended the event, and spoke about opportunities for the profession, as well as the importance of quality control and system integrity.
