PACFA is pleased to advise the release of the revised Continuing professional development course endorsement guidelines (Guidelines), effective from 1 May 2023. As the peak body for counselling, Indigenous Healing Practices and psychotherapy, PACFA is committed to upholding high standards in the profession, and the updated guidelines reflect this commitment.
The newly revised endorsement process offers a more structured and transparent approach for education and training providers (providers) seeking endorsement for its continuing professional development (CPD) courses. This ensures consistent high standards and provides PACFA members with the reassurance that they are engaging in high-quality professional development opportunities.
From this edition onwards, eNews will include information on CPD courses, accredited programs, and advanced specialist training programs available to our members. The new format will also feature PACFA community CPD organised by our Branches and Colleges as well as endorsed CPD courses facilitated by external providers.
