Mental Health Professionals’ Network free online conference in March

20 January 2023

The Mental Health Professionals’ Network is hosting a free online conference, ‘All Together Better – Collaborative Healthcare in a Changing World’ from Tuesday 28 March to Thursday 30 March 2023.

‘All Together Better’ will consider how the social determinants of our health, and the places where we live, work, learn and play, have been irrevocably impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and a range of extreme, climate-related weather events.

The conference will focus on how our collective and individual experiences over recent years have particularly affected mental health service providers and their clients.

The conference includes daily ‘Collab Labs’ on presenting issues such as eating disorders, family violence and social isolation/loneliness; conference delegates and expert clinicians will discuss a case presentation and collaboratively develop a mental health recovery plan. The conference will also feature networking hubs, a mindful room and think tanks, including a panel session on ‘The Nexus Between Climate Change and Mental Health’ hosted by PACFA member Merle Conyer.
