The PACFA Board has endorsed the creation of the new College of Supervision. The new College will support the community of supervisors, counsellors, psychotherapists and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Healing Practitioners in the provision of supervision.
Founded and led by PACFA-Accredited Supervisor Deborah Cameron, the College of Supervision will provide its members with networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities, professional development, interactive activities, workshops, and peer support. Deborah states that ‘the role of supervisors is crucial to advancing the profession, and PACFA members have a great contribution to make in this space.’
While promoting the benefits of engagement in supervision, the College will contribute to PACFA’s ongoing work within the Professional Standards.
