PACFA is seeking expressions of interest for the proposed new PACFA College of Supervision. We encourage you to register your interest if you would like to be involved in the formation of the College or would like to join the College when it is formed.
The proposed new College of Supervision would be a great resource and support for PACFA supervisors by providing workshops, group meetings and the way forward with supervision. Through the College, members would raise awareness and advocate for greater recognition of Supervision as a leadership role. The counselling and psychotherapy profession is rapidly progressing, more so today than in the past five to ten years.
Undoubtedly, this is attributed to those in leadership roles in counselling and psychotherapy and those behind the scenes. PACFA accredited supervisors for counsellors already practise under the PACFA accredited supervisor standards and are therefore significant in supporting the creation of a College of Supervision.
