This PD event would provide participants with the opportunity to engage with some professional learning covering topics from recent Australian research regarding things to consider when working with autistic clients that may influence practice. 

 

 Join this webinar to built awareness and professional knowledge of:

  • current research trends in autism that may inform member’s practice.
  • factors that may influence autistic clients that may inform member’s practice.

This will be a presentation of data from recent Australain research with opportunities for questions at the end

 

Presenter: Beth Saggers

Beth is a Professor in Queensland University of Technology’s Creative Industry, Education, and social justice faculty. She has 37 years educational practice and research experience in autism, inclusive education, social emotional competence, wellbeing and challenging and complex needs. She has engaged in research in schools that informs policy and practice She has published over 70 journal publications, books, book. chapters and research reports and is an active researcher with the Autism Cooperative Research Centre.

 

CPD hours:

Attending webinar counts as 2 hours of Category A CPD (Continuing Professional Development).

Watching a recording of this webinar , that will be provided to registrants, can be used as 2 hours of Category B CPD.

 

You must attend 75% of a webinar in order to receive a CPD certificate for Category A CPD.

Event Cancellations

 Customers seeking to cancel their registration more than 5 working days (for courses) and 48 hours (for webinars) prior to the event date may request a credit to be applied to their account. Cancellations must be made in writing to [email protected]. Cancellations made with less notice than this are non-refundable or exchangeable. Credits will be accessible through the PACFA Portal and are valid for up to a year from the purchase date. This policy is at the discretion of PACFA and may change.
