Report from the PACFA President

The first meeting of the PACFA Council for 2020, scheduled to take place in Sydney on 4 April, was cancelled as part of the COVID-19 pandemic response.

The PACFA Board and CEO were very disappointed to miss the opportunity to meet with the Council, which is PACFA’s peak policy and strategy-making body.

PACFA President, Dr Di Stow, regularly prepares reports for the PACFA Council. Her report to the April 2020 meeting has been updated in light of the significant impact of the COVID-19 pandemic response on PACFA and our members.

The Report from the PACFA President has now been made available on the PACFA website as a way to keep members informed of recent activities at PACFA. The report highlights the challenges but also the opportunities for PACFA at the current time.
