PACFA publishes a range of resources to help build the evidence-base for the effectiveness of counselling and psychotherapy and to provide resources for practising counsellors and psychotherapists.

PACFA produces a monthly eNewsletter for members, with PACFA news, CPD, job and other opportunities.

Official e-Journal: PACJA

PACFA publishes the Psychotherapy and Counselling Journal of Australia (PACJA). It is an international, peer-reviewed, and open access scholarly journal which aims to make original and significant contributions to evidence-informed theory, policy, and practice for psychotherapy, counselling, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander healing practices. PACJA is the official e-journal of PACFA and is an initiative of the PACFA Research Committee.

 PACJA has an integrative, inclusive approach that considers research from a variety of epistemological, methodological, theoretical, and cultural perspectives. It publishes theoretical essays, experiential reports, and empirical studies featuring quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method approaches. Innovative research approaches, such as interactive pieces, co-design projects, and mixed media formats.
