It is with regret that we inform our PACFA members that Toni Lee, our Hobart-based PACFA colleague, has passed away recently. You may be aware that she has been unwell for some time with cancer. She is now released from that suffering and is at peace.
Toni was an enthusiastic member of our PACFA Tasmanian Branch Leadership Group before she became unwell. The Tasmanian Branch Leadership Group has been missing her participation over the last while as she was a keen member of the Group. She contributed actively to our profession through this work as a volunteer.
Toni will be known to many people in the community as a professional and caring counsellor. To her colleagues, some of whom were her tutors or fellow students, she will no doubt be remembered as a fun-loving, enquiring, curious, energetic, caring and engaging person.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Toni's family, friends and former patients during this difficult time.
