PACFA Prize presented at Monash University Awards

On Thursday 25 May 2023, PACFA’s Head of Education, Nghi Robinson, was honoured to attend the Monash Education Scholarships and Awards Ceremony to present the 2023 PACFA Outstanding Graduate Prize for excellence in counselling and psychotherapy studies to Monash University graduate Christine Ullmann.

As the recipient of the PACFA Outstanding Graduate Prize, Christine receives a one-year complimentary PACFA membership at the Certified Practicing level.

The memorable evening was attended by Professor Ruth Jeanes, Head of the School of Curriculum - Teaching and Inclusive Education, and Nicole Shepard, Manager of Professional Practice Consultants and featured a memorable didgeridoo performance. Nghi enjoyed the experience: “It was a great opportunity to connect with fellow colleagues, professionals and students, and to celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of the graduates.”

PACFA sponsors Outstanding Graduate Prize awards to promote excellence in counselling and psychotherapy education and is proud to formally recognise the success of Monash’s counselling graduates. The PACFA Outstanding Graduate Prize is awarded to the most outstanding student graduating from a PACFA-accredited counselling or psychotherapy program. Through collaborations such as these, we can promote excellence in the field and contribute to the growth of the Counselling and Psychotherapy fields.
