The 2023 AGM was well attended, with both PACFA President Nigel Polak and CEO Johanna de Wever providing updates. Attendees were also presented with the Annual Report for 2022-2023, and were briefed by PACFA’s Treasurer, Francis Kim, on the latest financial report.

Eligible Members who attended the 2023 PACFA AGM were not required to vote on any proposals or decisions.

'Eligible members' may attend the AGM and vote on proposals. Eligible members are members with voting rights on the Member Congress (as outlined in the PACFA Constitution) by virtue of being:

Additionally, the PACFA Council – our organisation’s guiding body – met for the second time in 2023 on Saturday 7 October.

At the Council meeting, PACFA President, Nigel Polak, led a discussion on the future of the profession, tackling the organisation’s vision for the future. Following this, PACFA’s CEO Johanna de Wever presented to Council on the reality of the current situation of the profession, as well as regarding the place of Education Program Accreditation within PACFA. Head of Practice, Sophie Keramidopoulos, updated attendees on a new 'Community' discussion forum to be released by the organisation, and various Committee and Branch updates were also provided.

The PACFA Council consists of representatives from PACFA’s colleges, branches, committees, member associations, and Board.
