The Healthtalk Australia website is now in the first stage of its launch to the public. The research team is seeking feedback from users across the mental and physical health sectors to refine and promote their website.
Healthtalk Australia is a consortium of researchers based at RMIT University, the University of Sydney, Monash University and UNSW conducting qualitative research into experiences of health and illness.
The design of the website is based on interviews exploring the physical health experiences of people who have accessed mental health services. The website aims to offer a sense of hope about mental and physical health challenges and empower consumers and health care practitioners.
