4th National NDIS and Mental Health Conference 2023

The 4th National NDIS & Mental Health Conference 2023 will be held on 20-21 February in Sydney. The theme for the conference is: ‘Improving Recovery, Capacity Building and Wellbeing.’

The conference host, Community Mental Health Australia (CMHA), is the coalition of peak community mental health organisations from States and Territories, established to promote the importance and benefits of community mental health and recovery services across Australia.

Since 2017 CMHA has hosted the National NDIS & Mental Health Conference to gain insights and further develop services and recommendations to those working in and affected by mental health.

Keynote speakers include:

  • Federal Assistant Minister for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention and Assistant Minister for Rural and Regional Health, The Hon Emma McBride
  • Co-Chair of the Independent Review of the NDIS and the Executive Chair and Director of the Melbourne Disability Institute at the University of Melbourne, Professor Bruce Bonyhady AM 
  • CEO of the National Mental Health Commission and National Suicide Prevention Adviser to the Prime Minister, Christine Morgan
