Thank you to all the wonderful members who have renewed their membership for the 2022-23 year.
PACFA membership follows the financial year, so all memberships expired on 30 June. It’s not too late to renew – we offer a grace period until 31 July 2022 to submit your renewal and pay your membership fees. After 31 July, a late fee of $50 applies.
Your PACFA membership demonstrates to the public, government, and stakeholders that you meet our strict member requirements and are a highly skilled mental health professional. If you hold the PACFA Master Policy via Insurance House and have not renewed your membership by 31 July, you will no longer be insured. If you are insured with a different company, check with your insurer whether you are still covered, as some require membership of a professional body as a condition of insurance.
It is important to have professional indemnity and public liability insurance in place, to protect yourself and your practice in the event someone makes a claim against you.
