Psychotherapy and Counselling Today coming to your mailbox

7 December 2022

The 2022 issue of our print magazine, Psychotherapy and Counselling Today, will begin to appear in members’ letterboxes mid-December.

The articles and book reviews in the 2022 issue includes an editorial by Stephen Andrews that explores the question: ‘In this post-truth political world, do we need to do something very different in the way we approach therapy as practitioners?’

Other articles and book reviews include…

  • ‘An Integrated Approach to Trauma Treatment’ by Tra-ill Dowie and Nigel Denning

  • ‘Moving Chairs: Reflections on The Beginnings of Practice’ by Megan Buys

  • ‘Increasing Your Chances of Employment as A Counsellor’ by Nathan Beel

  • A Psychotherapeutic Understanding of Eating Disorders in Children and Young People: Ways to Release the Imprisoned Self by Jeanne Magagna; Reviewed by Jude Piercey

  • Imagining therapy, the second excerpt from Bernie Neville’s book, The Life of Things.

Full members of PACFA will receive printed copies; student members will receive digital copies of the publication later this month.

PACFA extends heartfelt thanks to all authors and contributors for creating the latest edition of Psychotherapy and Counselling Today – and a special thanks to our editor, Stephen Andrew, for his ongoing dedication and hard work.
