Insurance House has worked closely with PACFA to a create members-only Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Master Insurance Policy. The policy is available to individual members of PACFA at a rate that is around 30% cheaper than the current industry standard.
As a condition of PACFA membership, all practising members are required to have Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance cover in place, and to maintain continuous cover for the duration of their membership.
The PACFA Master Policy runs alongside your membership and expires on 30 June, so being covered by Insurance House includes the added convenience of renewing your membership and insurance in the same transaction.
An additional benefit of the Master Insurance Policy is that members are able to insure themselves for a wide range of other health modalities that they are appropriately qualified for, in addition to counselling and psychotherapy, for no extra cost. Members can apply for the PACFA Master Insurance Policy with their renewal or at any time during the membership year. If you purchase the Master Policy part-way through the membership year, you will receive a pro-rata discount based on the month you began your insurance.

If you hold the PACFA Master Policy with your membership, to ensure uninterrupted cover it is important your renewal with insurance is in place by 30 June 2022.
Professional Indemnity Insurance is placed on a claim made basis. This means cover will only be considered if you have a current policy in place at the time you first become aware of a claim or circumstance and the matter is reported under the current policy.

The discounted insurance rate is available to individual PACFA members only. Member Association members are able to purchase the Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Master Insurance Policy from Insurance House, however are not eligible for the discount.
