PACFA’s latest publication: Psychotherapy and Counselling Today

PACFA’s new psychotherapy and counselling journal, Psychotherapy & Counselling Today launched in November 2019 and is now available to purchase via the PACFA Portal.

Psychotherapy & Counselling Today is a professional journal available in printed magazine format, which aims to provide PACFA members and a broader reading audience with stimulating and informative reading on psychotherapy and counselling in Australia. The publication will be of value to practitioners, educators, researchers and students to support ongoing professional learning.

The inaugural edition includes feature articles, book reviews, reflections on practice, and dedicated sections on Ethics and Comment.

Thank you to the Guest Editor, Dr Stephen Andrew, and to all authors for contributing to the first edition of Psychotherapy & Counselling Today. Thank you also to the Manager Editor, Maria Brett for getting this exciting new initiative off the ground, and to Julia Bilecki for the beautiful design on the journal.

PACFA has already received very positive feedback on the quality and breadth of contemporary and relevant content in the first edition, which includes an editorial titled “Languaging from a space of unknowing” by Guest Editor Dr Stephen Andrew, and a range of featured articles including:
