PACFA is launching a new Membership System

PACFA is pleased to announce we are moving to an improved membership system which we will launch to our members in December.

The system is called iMIS and is a well-established membership database that is used all over the world.

For all our members, the new system will keep a running total of professional development and supervision hours and provide a snapshot of progress towards meeting annual requirements. Registered PACFA members will also be able to access proof of membership renewal as soon as the renewal process has been completed. Members will now be able to easily view and edit their profiles and to tailor the communications they receive from PACFA.

Once the new PACFA website is launched in early 2020, PACFA will be offering a member-only area that will allow us to tailor and share exclusive member-only content with members, using the iMIS platform.

What does this mean for PACFA Members?

PACFA is currently securely transferring our members’ data to the new system. During this time, some membership applications will not be available online and access to the old portal will be closed altogether for a period of one week in the last week of November.

If you are a PACFA member and you need to change any of your personal details, please do not update these on the portal. You can complete this change of details form or contact PACFA office and we will be able to make the changes for you.

PACFA’s Find a Therapist search engine will continue to operate as normal and members will still have access to member information, and be able to purchase events, leave applications and upgrade applications until the last week of November.

As with any new system, there will be a few teething problems and PACFA will be rolling out some features of the system in stages so not all functionality will be available when we first go live. We ask our members to please bear with us during the transition stage.

PACFA is committed to providing a membership system that meets the needs of our members and we believe that all our members will have a greatly improved experience using the new system.

As always, the membership team will be available to assist members to access and use the new system. We encourage members to contact the PACFA Office with any questions about the transition.
