As part of PACFA’s continuing support for our members during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, PACFA has made an important change to the flexible supervision arrangements introduced in March this year.
In recognition of the very significant impact on employment opportunities faced by some of our members, supervision requirements may now be waived for members who have been unemployed or had very low client numbers for a substantial part of the membership year.
Waiver requests will be considered on a case by case basis. Where supervision is waived, Members must still meet the CPD requirements for which a grace period is allowed.
If you believe you may be eligible for a waiver of your supervision requirements, we encourage you read updated guidelines, Flexible CPD and Supervision requirements during the COVID-19 pandemic, which are now available on the PACFA website.
We hope that this additional flexibility to supervision requirements will alleviate some of the difficulties being faced by members who have been seriously impacted by COVID-19 and allow you to retain your PACFA membership without additional stress.
Please contact the membership team at membership@pacfa.org.au if you require assistance with the flexible supervision arrangements.
