NDIS Survey for PACFA College of Counselling

The Leadership Group of PACFA’s College of Counselling is conducting a survey to seek the input of members into planning PACFA’s response to the NDIS.

The recognition of the vital role of counsellors, supporting people with disabilities via the NDIS, was an important milestone for our profession, elevating our profile and firmly establishing our presence within the mental health and health sectors in Australia.

The new NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission commenced operating from 1 July 2018 to provide national consistency regarding the provision of safe and quality services for NDIS participants. Counsellors who are currently registered providers, or who are looking to become providers, must submit to an audit process as a requirement to be registered.

The College of Counselling is aware of the different challenges relating to the NDIS which members have been navigating over the past two years. This includes counsellors who are registered and those who are not yet registered.

To help address these challenges, the College of Counselling survey will help the College Leadership Group better understand the needs of its membership. The information gathered will be shared with PACFA to assist in the development of resources, inform advocacy initiatives, and guide strategic goals.

Members of the College of Counselling and other counsellors are invited to participate. Click the button below to complete the survey which will take about 5 minutes of your time.

Thank you to all survey participants!
