Using Music to Create Safety in Relationships After Trauma

This evening is an invitation to explore:

Impact of trauma on parenting and parent-child relationships

Current therapies for working with traumatised parent-chid dyads and where the gaps are

Research/evidence: Why use music to help traumatised parent-child dyads?

Research/evidence: How music can help traumatised parent-child dyads.

Learning outcomes:

Understanding of relevant theories, existing evidence-base and where gaps are when working with parent-adolescent conflict where the parent has a history of abuse or neglect

You will learn about the rationale for using music as a way to address implicit somatic and emotional interpersonal processes that drive conflict within a systemic framework.

You will be introduced to ways music may to our ever-changing experience.

Cancellations made more than 5 working days prior to the course commencement date may apply via email to admin@pacfa.org.au for a 50% refund. Alternatively, course bookings may be transferred to another person or to a future course or event. (excluding the PACFA conference)

Cancellations made 5 or less working days prior to the course commencement date are 100% non-refundable and cannot be transferred to a future course or event.
