Treatment Approaches to Childhood Sexual Abuse

In this presentation, Convenor of the Perth Symposia on Child Sexual Abuse Prevention, Dr Christabel Chamarette, will outline the treatment approach used with sex offenders in Perth by a small, dedicated group of clinical psychologists and psychotherapists. This successful treatment program led by Dr Chamarette has evolved over many years, resulting in an extremely low recidivism rate. This is the only program of its kind in Australia and possibly the world.
