In this presentation PACFA President, Dr Di Stow will provide an update on PACFA’s activities in 2019 including recent achievements and new developments.

Topics covered will include:

  •   PACFA’s advocacy activities, including advocating for Medicare numbers and private health rebates for counsellors and psychotherapists
  •   Participating in the Productivity Commission Review of the social and economic impact of improving mental health in the Australian community
  •   Promoting opportunities for jobs for counsellors and psychotherapists
  •   PACFA’s research journal – PACJA (Psychotherapy an Counselling Journal of Australia)
  •   PACFA’s membership of Allied Health Professions Australia (AHPA)
  •   Professional support for members including PACFA insurance options and PACFA’s Ethics Support Line
  •   PACFA’s new professional journal, Psychotherapy and Counselling Today – launching in November
  •   Recent achievements including PACFA’s Strategic Plan 2019-22 and Scope of Practice for Registered Counsellors

REFUND POLICY: Cancellations made more than 5 working days prior to the course commencement date may apply via email to admin@pacfa.org.au for a 50% refund.

Cancellations made 5 or less working days prior to the course commencement date are 100% non-refundable and cannot be transferred to a future course or event.

Alternatively, course bookings may be transferred to another person or to a future course or event. (excluding the PACFA conference) Requests to transfer must be made via email to admin@pacfa.org.au prior to the course commencing.

After the commencement date/time of the course, no refunds or transfers are possible.
