A symposium held by professional counselling association of ACT/NSW. The focus will be Neuroscience, using modern counselling skills and neuroplasticity including understanding complex trauma and trauma-informed care principles.

Guest Speaker: Katina Gleeson

Katina is the Principle Educator for the David Kennedy School of Hypnosis, having been chosen by David to succeed him in presenting his materials. Katina collaborates with Rachel Kennedy in presenting these Neurocouncilling seminars for hypnotherapists, social workers and other health practitioners and is passionate about working with people to achieve their best personally and professionally. The point of difference with Katina is she sets up hypnotherapist for Success!!!

She has a powerful belief in people’s ability to make positive changes in their lives. Katina has a diverse professional background, including experience as a social worker in both not-for-profit and government sectors. Currently she is in private practice as a mental health accredited social worker and clinical hypnotherapist. She is also a counselling educator. A constant throughout Katina’s career is a commitment to the core values of respect, social justice and professional integrity. Katina is the author of the book Neurocounselling, Using modern counselling skills and neuroplasticity to achieve life-changing results.
