Forest Therapy Guide Training

The objective of the course is to introduce Forest Therapy as a preventive health practice and provide the first step towards full international accreditation as a Certified Forest Therapy Guide.

During the five-day intensive program, participants are introduced to the key concepts of “Forest Therapy” and exciting future prospects to work in this emerging field of health and wellbeing.

Designed to take you on a journey of discovery covering decades of science and research, this training retreat introduces both theoretical and practical aspects of Forest Therapy.

Delve deep into key concepts of “Shinrin Yoku” and understand the science, research and future application of the practice.

Experience the proven benefits of this healing practice for yourself, in the lush forests of the Yarra Ranges National Park. Forest Therapy walks will be conducted under the guidance and mentoring of qualified and experienced Forest Therapy practitioners.

On successful completion of the five day intensive residential workshop, participants can then progress to the six month practicum towards full certification and accreditation as INFTA Certified Forest Therapy Guide.

CPD Hours: This event counts as 20 hours of category A CPD for PACFA’s membership renewal requirements.
