EmQ – Methodical Empathy – a new intelligence for the 21st Century
Presented by Yehuda Tagar

Empathy is at the cutting edge of the evolution of consciousness today. It is recognised as a fundamental aspect of Humanistic psychology and has become the expected standard of personal, social, and particularly professional psychological care.

What is Empathy? It is a very specific capacity of perception. It is seeing and understanding the reality of another person from their own point of view. It can described as thinking as they think, understanding as they understand, feeling as they feel and speaking their language.

Can Empathy be learned? Empathy is an innate human capacity that can be developed and refined. A process for enabling a person to deeply connect with and know the reality of another person is Methodical empathy. Consciously developing ones skills in Methodical Empathy enables the practitioner to hold the space for the other to enable them to work deeply with their known and unknown, conscious and unconscious, issues. It is a great gift for clients.
