Art(s) Therapy Supervisor Training Course (Online)

This course is designed to specifically develop a professional art(s) therapist supervisor identity. Applicant eligibility requires five(5) years clinical practice experience. The main focus is to protect the welfare of the client and to ensure quality of service provision. There is also an emphasis on the supervisor’s areas of responsibility.

Course content includes:

Arts Reflective Processes in Supervision
Stages of Supervision
Roles of the Supervisor
Models of Supervision
Levels of Supervisee and Supervisor development
Legal and Ethical Responsibilities
Professional development of the Arts Therapist Supervisor
Maintenance of policies and procedures
Individual, group and peer supervision

Commencing September 2020
Assessment includes live supervision
The course integrates self-awareness, theoretical background, plus the development of clinical skills and knowledge.
Expressions of Interest are invited.

This event counts as 8 hours of category A CPD for PACFA’s membership renewal requirements.
