An Introductory 1 day workshop to | Postgraduate Certificate & Diploma in Clinical Art & Play Therapy

Facilitator: Dr Rosa Bologna

The Academy of Art & Play Therapy is offering a Postgraduate Certificate and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Art & Play Therapy. The certificate level course is nested within the diploma level course, that is, students complete the certificate level course first (1 year) and then if they wish to continue, they complete the diploma level subjects (an additional 6 months). The courses are designed for counselling clinicians who wish to acquire specialist knowledge and skills in the clinical applications of art and play therapy. The training covers a range of art and play therapy modalities and techniques that can be used with children, adolescents and adults presenting with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, addictive behaviour, compulsive behaviour, grief, attachment and inter-personal related issues.

The courses have been developed by the Academy’s director, psychologist Dr Rosa Bologna. Rosa has been providing art and play therapy training and supervision for 20 years. Rosa is an experienced tertiary curriculum developer with over 12 years’ experience in developing and delivering Australian nationally accredited practice-based clinical art and play therapy education. Rosa will be running an introductory workshop which is compulsory for those who plan to apply for the post-graduate certificate or diploma course.
