Changes to the PACFA team

PACFA is delighted to announce changes to the PACFA team.

Nilu De Alwis is currently acting in the role of Membership Team Leader. Nilu has been with PACFA for 8 years so she has substantial experience of PACFA’s membership and registration requirements. The need for a Membership Team Leader has emerged as PACFA has grown. We are already benefitting greatly from Nilu’s skills and experience in this new leadership role. Congratulations to Nilu on her promotion. We hope this will be a permanent change to the PACFA team.

Luise Tartaglia has moved out of the Membership Team into a new role as the Course Accreditation and Ethics Officer. Luise has been with PACFA nearly four years. Luise trained as a social worker and she uses this background and skills to administer PACFA’s course accreditation process, assist members with enquiries via the Ethics Helpline, and administer ethics complaints. PACFA is fortunate to have Luise in this newly created role providing professional support for PACFA’s Committees.

Nicole Combes, who has been our Administration Officer for the last year, is moving to a new role as a Membership Officer. Nicole has already been dealing with members on the phone and many people have given positive feedback about how friendly and helpful Nicole has been with membership inquiries. Nicole has also kept the office running smoothly and organised various meetings including the AGM and Council meetings. Welcome Nicole to the Membership Team.

Tish McLean-Neil joins us as the Administrative Officer. Tish has extensive experience in customer service, fulfillment and administrative roles and will be and welcome addition to the PACFA team.

Claire Manderson (now Claire West) leaves us as the Professional Development Coordinator. Claire has been a fantastic asset to PACFA, building relationships with the PACFA Colleges and Branches and putting on more than 150 events in her time at PACFA, including a very successful trauma conference. Claire is moving to a new role with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists where she will be the Conference Coordinator. Good luck Claire and thank you for your contribution to PACFA.
