Call for articles for Psychotherapy & Counselling Today

PACFA is calling for articles for our new professional magazine, Psychotherapy & Counselling Today, which will be launched in 2019.

We are seeking feature articles, book reviews, reflections on practice, and articles for regular columns on ethics and training and education.

Psychotherapy & Counselling Today will be a non peer-reviewed professional journal, in magazine format, aimed at providing stimulating and informative reading on psychotherapy and counselling in Australia. The magazine will be of value to practitioners, educators, researchers and students to support ongoing professional learning.

Articles should relate to psychotherapy or counselling and are required to be of the following length:

  • Feature articles – 3,000 to 7,000 words
  • Reflections on Practice – 1,000 to 1,500 words
  • Book Reviews – 600 to 1,200 words
  • Ethics – 600 to 1,200 words
  • Training and Education – 800 to 1,500 words
  • Comment – 600 to 1,200 words
