Greg will offer his agreement with something Eugene Gendlin said; that a human being is always unfinished. Greg will expand this into a discussion of what feelings are, a view of what a person is, some ideas about how to work therapeutically so that we avoid coming to conclusions, and a few comments about what it means for the human species to be ‘unfinished’ especially in the light of coping with this pandemic. In conversation with Alison, Greg will sketch out a broad experiential-existential view of practice and of living that prioritises process over content.
