Lecturer: Jenny Perchman

 

The focus of this unit will be on assisting the student to further translate the theories and concepts learnt in unit 1 into action. Knowledge and skills, particularly with working with couples will be strengthened.

Unit Objectives:
  • Identify problematic patterns of interaction and communication in relationships
  • Practice skills in conceptualising problems, systemically developing a therapeutic alliance with multiple members of a system, and counselling from a relational perspective
  • Identify and respond to ethical issues arising in this area of work

Jenny Perchman
Clinical Counsellor, Registered supervisor, Lecturer in Counselling. Jenny has expertise in general treatment and provides counselling and psychotherapy services addressing a broad range of individual and relationship issues. She has experience working with individuals, couples and families. Jenny is an accredited supervisor who provides clinical and pastoral supervision. Jenny also lecturers in the Masters of Counselling programme at Morling College.

This event counts as 20 hours of category A CPD for PACFA’s membership renewal requirements.
