A practical introduction to polyvagal theory for counsellors
 

This webinar will explore:

• an overview of polyvagal theory and how it applies to self care
• the three organising principles of polyvagal theory
• the three key states of our nervous system
• the importance of knowing where you are within your own nervous system
• building awareness of the feelings and sensations in each state
•  find ways to get back to a state of equilibrium

Attending webinar counts as 2 hours of Category A CPD (Continuing Professional Development). Watching a recording of this webinar can be used as 2 hours of Category B CPD.

You must attend 75% of a webinar in order to receive a CPD certificate for Category A CPD.

Minky is a mental health clinician with 20+ years of clinical experience in medical, education and community settings. As a clinical member of PACFA and the Australian Music Therapy Association, Minky specialises in chronic stress and post-traumatic mental health.
