Facilitating Trauma informed Group Work 3 day training 27-29 Aug 2021 Matcham

This 3 day intensive training will support you to build your knowledge and skill set in relation to facilitating trauma informed groups and programs. You will feel more confident in being able to hold space, set firm boundaries and guidelines and respond to challenges in all areas of trauma informed group work.

At this experiential group work training you will learn:

• Managing emotional triggers within the group
• Roles within the group
• Trauma informed facilitation
• Facilitating inner work- staying with the feelings
• Group dynamics and stages
• Boundaries and contracting
• Intake process – screening your participants
• Self Care – how to look after your own wellbeing as a facilitator

Tamika Dwight-Scott - Masters Gestalt therapy, Adv Dip GT, Adv Dip App Soc Sc, Clinical Resource therapist and trainer, Dip Hypnotherapy, Clinical member PACFA and AHA, Work Cover accredited therapist. 
Brenda Tanner - Cert Gestalt therapy, Dip Equine therapy, Clinical Resource Therapsit. Specialties: Equine Assisted Therapy/Learning, Change Management, Organisational Development, Life Coaching, Business Transformation and Project Management.

Cost: $990 PACFA accredited training – earn 20 CPD points, plus 3 hours of group supervision. Pre Requisite for this training: Participants are required to hold qualifications in counselling, psychotherapy, psychology, mental health work. No prior group work experience is required to attend this training.
