PACFA accredits training programs in counselling and psychotherapy to ensure high standards of training for counsellors and Psychotherapist. Continuing Professional Development
PACFA runs quality Continuing Professional Development activities for counsellors and psychotherapists and other practitioners from related fields. PACFA currently runs two short courses. Both are essential topics for effective practice.
Online Mental Health Course
An 8 hour online course aimed at building mental health competencies, delivered in partnership with the University of Canberra.
Practical Ethics for Counsellors and Psychotherapists
A 6 hour course aimed at developing practical skills to work with ethical issues in practice, delivered in partnership with the Cairnmillar Institute. The course is available as a face-to-face workshop and as an online course.
