Creative Supervision employs metaphor, images, symbols and drawing for exploring client material and opening unconscious communication in the relationships between clients, practitioners and supervisors.

Topics:

Participants will engage in professional conversations, experiential activities and role plays as we address the following topics:

• Right mode/ Left mode supervision

• Opening up unconscious communication

• Symbols and images for expression

• Drawing out troubles

• Demonstration – a creative supervision session

Jo Ablett and Cheryl Taylor have a solid foundation of supervisory training and experience gained over more than a decade of practice as Supervisors. They both hold a Masters Degree in Counselling, have completed a Certificate IV and a Graduate Diploma in Counselling Supervision and are registered Supervisors with ACA, AAOS, ACSA and PACFA. They are committed to supporting other Counsellors and Therapists in their journeys as Supervisors and to providing a safe space for Supervisors, Team Leaders, and those in supervisory roles, to reflect on and deepen their work.

Cost: $250
