Professional Practice Committee
This committee consists of the Chairs of the following committees:

· Ethics
One of the four members is elected by PACFA Council as Chair of this committee. The current Chair is Andrew Little who is also Chair of the Education Program Accreditation Committee (EPAC)
The terms of reference that guide the work of the committee are to:
1. Establish and maintain Professional Practice Committee prioritising the goals and interests of PACFA Member Associations (MAs) and offer leadership in developing areas in the practice and standards of counselling and psychotherapy
2. Support recognition of the professions of Psychotherapy and Counselling through developing, maintaining and reviewing professional standards
3. Seek support and mentoring from international bodies with experience in these areas together with contributing to international bodies
4. Leadership and management of joint matters of concerns across the Professional Practice committees and for the profession
5. Mutual resourcing and problem solving across the Professional Practice committees
6. Development and documentation of policy and resource materials for each subcommittee
7. Resource the PACFA Board, Council and MAs on professional practice, training and ethical standards
